SHOULD YOU GET A TRAVEL VACCINE?
YES! But, you want to make sure you get the right vaccinations to the locations you are traveling to!
WHEN SHOULD YOU GET A TRAVEL VACCINE?
- Your body needs time to develop an immunity so we recommend booking your vaccination appointment A MONTH before travel.
- Some travel vaccines have shortages so we will have to order them specifically and that will take time to arrive
- Yellow fever countries require you to get vaccinated 10 DAYS before travel

The last dose should be given at least 1 week before travel. A booster dose (third dose) should be given if a person has received the two-dose primary vaccination series one year or more previously and there is a continued risk for JE virus infection or potential for re-exposure.

I AM GOING CAMPING INTERNATIONALLY
Rabies
We recommend a Rabies Vaccine! Without one, getting bitten by an animal while camping internationally means you will need to seek immediate medical attention. The Rabies Vaccines will also help in Asia and Africa where locals struggle to have access to rabies vaccinations for their dogs.
My international trip will be longer than 6 months and/or I will be staying in a rural area
Cholera
The Cholera vaccination is a great option for those who are traveling in areas where there is not proper water supplies and sewage disposal.
